FIELD: water and air purification technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a water treatment device for household needs, made with possibility of temporary connection to the tap outlet to ensure continuous supply of treated water, wherein water to be treated is directed radially through its inner part. Device is formed by connection of cylindrical receiving vessel with upper closing element, at that, the receiving vessel in its inner part serves as support of the flapping plug on which hollow membrane of cylindrical shape rests, note here that said membrane comprises filtering layer. Inner wall of receiving vessel is equipped with ribs extending longitudinally to form channels for treated water flow. Upper closing element is equipped with grooves for inlet of water to be treated, note here that sealing means is pressed thereon for connection with water tap.

EFFECT: invention provides an efficient system for treating water for protection against pathogenic microorganisms and other contaminants.
