FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for detecting fluid leaks from a pool of spent nuclear fuel maintenance in nuclear power plant storage pools. In the system for detection of liquid leaks from the pool of spent nuclear fuel maintenance, welded joints of the conditioning pool are additionally equipped with a tight metal enclosure, connected by means of tubes with valves to pipeline connected on both sides via collection valve and return valve with leakage tank, equipped with liquid level sensor.
EFFECT: technical result is control of tightness of welded joints of pool of endurance of spent nuclear fuel and determination of weld seams lost tightness without preliminary drying of conditioning pool, high radiation safety of storage pools and reduced time for their repair.
