FIELD: nuclear engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nuclear engineering, namely to equipment for detecting leaks and repairing damaged internal lining of a water-filled cooling pond for spent nuclear fuel of a nuclear power plant (NPP). The system for repairing the lining of the cooling pond is additionally equipped with devices that are not submerged in the cooling pond, including pneumatic and electrical equipment, an electric control cabinet, a control panel with an ultrasonic flaw detector and welding equipment, and with devices that are submerged in the cooling pond, including a submerged repair platform for placing the actuator. The actuator is equipped with a tracking drive, an ultrasonic control head, a video surveillance device, a device for processing welds and the cooling pond surface from contamination, a device for cutting wire, and a delivery device. The submerged repair platform is made of an external frame and an internal frame and is connected to the delivery platform. The leak-sealing device is made in the form of a small-sized welding installation connected to the welding equipment. The submerged repair platform is equipped with means of fixing it to the surface of the cooling pond.
