FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing polyacrylate of gold. Method involves reaction of aqueous solutions of polyacrylic acid and hydrochloric acid. Prior to introduction into reaction, initial polyacrylic acid is subjected to flow dialysis and subsequent lyophilic drying. Aqueous solutions of hydrochloric acid and polyacrylic acid are reacted in amounts which provide 5–10-fold molar excess of monomer link (-CH2-CHENCO-) relative to hydrochloric acid, wherein polyacrylic acid with average molecular weight in range of 1.6–140 kDa is used. Obtained product undergoes flow dialysis.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain highly soluble in water polyacrylate gold with high content of Au (III), responsible for its cytotoxic activity.
