FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition for producing a gold-containing aqueous gel based on hyaluronic acid and a gold-containing component, containing a sodium salt of hyaluronic acid with a molecular weight of 1.5–1.8 MDa, a gold-containing component, that is sodium tetrachloroaurate dihydrate, sodium citrate trisubstituted dihydrate and water, with ratio of initial components per volume of gel of 1000 ml, g: sodium salt of hyaluronic acid 8–16, sodium citrate trisubstituted dihydrate 1.5–2.5, sodium tetrachloroaurate dihydrate 0.005–0.015, distilled water up to 1000 ml, and also relates to a method of producing a gold-containing gel by mixing components of the composition with simultaneous synthesis of gold nanoparticles, comprising the following steps: preliminary preparation of solution of 1.5–2.5 g of sodium citrate of trisubstituted dihydrate in 50 ml of water with stirring until complete dissolution; preliminary preparation of an aqueous solution of 0.005–0.015 g of sodium tetrachloroaurate dihydrate in 50 ml of water; preparation of a solution of sodium salt of hyaluronic acid by dissolving 8–16 g in 900 ml of water while stirring at room temperature for 3 hours; heating of obtained solution of sodium salt of hyaluronic acid to 35–40 °C; introduction of sodium citrate of trisubstituted dihydrate into the heated solution of sodium salt of hyaluronic acid for 0.5–1 h with further introduction of 50 ml of the prepared solution of sodium tetrachloroaurate dihydrate with slow stirring for 3–5 hours until a red color of the hydrogel is achieved.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides the development of a composition and a method for producing a gold-containing aqueous gel of hyaluronic acid with gold nanoparticles of the optimum size of 20–50 nm with high bioavailability, efficacy in terms of therapeutic and preventive action, in the absence of foreign impurities in the gel and at a neutral pH of the medium, stable with a prolonged effect in body tissues.
