SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry and is an oral composition for controlling or reducing body weight in a human, comprising an effective amount of a first agent, capable of providing a feeling of satiety, which is a medium- or long-chain fatty acid, wherein said medium- or long-chain fatty acid is contained in the first lipid component; a second agent capable of enhancing satiety effect of the first agent, which is a water-swellable or water-soluble polymer component, wherein said water-swellable or water-soluble polymer component is enclosed within said lipid component and/or coated with said lipid component, wherein said composition is an edible particle having a sieve diameter in range of 0.05 to 3 mm.
