SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing liquid organic radioactive wastes and their isolation from the environment. Method of processing liquid organic wastes involves solidification of liquid wastes by adding polymers to wastes. For isolation from the environment, the surface of the cured polymer composition is coated with a protective layer of the tread material. Paraffin hydrocarbons or mixtures thereof with at least 18 carbon atoms are used as the tread.
EFFECT: invention eliminates migration of toxic and fire hazardous substances from the cured composition to the environment.
