FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method includes at least one treatment step (2a, 2b), on which wood-based material (1) is treated by at least physical treatment, chemical treatment and/or physical and chemical treatment, and on which wood-based material (1) is treated by at least hydrolysis and steam explosion, and at least one liquid-solid phase separation step (6) after enzymatic hydrolysis (4), to which lignin-based material (5) is fed and on which lignin fraction (7) and fraction (8) are separated, containing soluble carbohydrates. Produced lignocellulosic material (3a) contains more than 80 % of finely ground solid particles, which are fibrous particles of less than 0.2 mm, based on measurement results using an optical measuring device. Proposed is a wood-based material processing plant.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides improved enzymatic hydrolysis and separation of lignin and fractions containing soluble carbohydrates to obtain product fractions of good quality.
