METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CAVITATION-REAGENT CLEANING OF DUST COLLECTOR INNER SPACE OF MULTI-CYCLONE TYPE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B08B9/93 B08B3/08 B08B3/10

Abstract RU 2690930 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and apparatus for cleaning inner space of various process equipment used in the gas industry, in particular to a method of cleaning the inner space of a dust collector of a multi-cyclone type from deposits, which are a compacted finely dispersed fraction of mineral and organic deposits. Method of cavitation-reagent cleaning of inner space of a dust collector of multi-cyclone type consists in the fact that a dust collector of multi-cyclone type, which is taken out of operation and prepared, is cleaned from solid deposits with scraper devices, chemical cleaning and hydraulic cleaning are carried out with subsequent removal of damaged deposits. At that, chemical and hydraulic cleaning of internal surfaces is carried out in aqueous medium of solution of surfactants under action of pulsating cavitation flow of collapsing gas-vapor bubbles and hydrodynamic power action of radially directed or actively-reactively directed jet flows on deposits of inner surface at pressure 15.0–30.0 MPa. After cleaning, aqueous solution of surfactant is subjected to contamination cleaning and can be used for filling of next dust collector of multi-cyclone type with surfactant additive to required concentration. Installation for cavitation-reagent cleaning of inner space of dust collector of multi-cyclone type consists of high-pressure pump interconnected on one side with line of low pressure of working fluid supply from reservoir or service water pipeline, and on other side with high-pressure line equipped with pressure gauge. At that, to generate simultaneously pulsating cavitation flow and hydrodynamic power pressure on high-pressure line, rotary cavitation generator with even number of cavitators is additionally installed. Cavitators can be active-reactive or radial-directed.

EFFECT: higher erosion destruction of deposits and reduced adhesion of deposits with inner surface of cleaned parts.
