FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, specifically to a method of producing hydroxylamine sulphate (HAS) – (NH2OH)2⋅H2SO4, used as one of main reagents in production of caprolactam. Disclosed is a method of producing hydroxylamine sulphate from nitrogen oxide (II), hydrogen and sulfuric acid at excess pressure in the presence of a "platinum on electrographite" catalyst in a cascade of mixing reactors by feeding a mixture of nitrogen oxide (II) and hydrogen (synthesis gas) into the lower part of each of the reactors cascade, supply of aqueous solution of sulfuric acid to the first along the flow of liquid flow reactor cascade, supply of catalyst suspension in water solution of sulfuric acid to the first along the motion of liquid flow reactor cascade, additional supply of aqueous sulfuric acid solution to cascade reactors and additional supply of catalyst suspension in water solution of sulfuric acid at concentration of catalyst in cascade reactors equal to 30–50 g/l, in which use of 26–45 % concentration of aqueous solution of sulfuric acid during its supply to all reactors of cascade; use of 26–45 % concentration of aqueous solution of sulfuric acid in suspension of catalyst during its supply to all reactors of cascade; process with volume fraction (H) of hydrogen in synthesis gas and excess pressure (P, atm), satisfying ratio H≥0.66+0.074∙lnP, process at excess pressure of 0.7–3.0 atm; additional supply of nitrogen oxide (II) to each of cascade reactors to obtain volumetric ratio of hydrogen and nitrogen oxide (II) equal to (1.7–1.8):1.
