FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling hydroxylamine sulphate (HAS) synthesis, one of the main caprolactam synthesis intermediates. Method of controlling synthesis of HAS obtained by reducing nitrogen (II) with hydrogen with ratio of volume fraction of hydrogen to volume fraction of nitrogen oxide (II) equal to (1.7–1.8):1, in a sulfuric acid medium at high temperature and high pressure in the presence of a finely dispersed "platinum on electrographite" catalyst in a cascade of mixing reactors with preliminary mixing of hydrogen and nitrogen oxide (II) to obtain synthesis gas and separate introduction of the obtained synthesis gas into each cascade reactor, by determining content of hydrogen in synthesis gas and additional introduction of nitrogen oxide (II) into each cascade reactor. Process of HAS synthesis control is carried out by simultaneous control of hydrogen content in synthesis gas and content of nitrogen oxide (I) in gaseous reaction products.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of HAS synthesis control algorithm, as well as stability of reactor unit operation.
