FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental apparatus for conducting aeroacoustic studies of turbofan engines of aircraft. Input device represents a smoothly expanding cylindrical channel consisting of single-type, solid interconnected parts. Contour of internal (2) and external (3) surfaces of parts is similar to contour of inlet part of air intake of turbofan engine with lemniscate profile. Surfaces (2) and (3) of the part are connected to one end by solid wall – stiffener (4). Flange (5) is arranged at the base of the part. Method of making an input device involves 3D printing of the required number of solid single-type parts of the device, their gluing together into several single-type segments and connection of segments to each other by pins. Assembled structure is joined by means of flange connection (5) to a cylindrical channel of the experimental installation, from which rotating acoustic modes are emitted.
EFFECT: invention improves convenience of installation, transportation and storage.
