FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of large-size molding tooling. Technical result is achieved by method of manufacturing large-size molding tool from composite material for 3D article, which includes division of streamlined surface of volume article cross-sections into intervals. Formation of wall with reference surface. Application of antiadhesion composition on reference surface. Laying on the reference surface of an uncured shape-generating shell from composite material. Forming shell is formed and cured according to preset mode. Removal of hardened shaping shell from reference surface and its fixation on rigging frame. Streamlined surface can be divided into two or more intervals consisting of straight lines or second-order curve lines. Sections of the wall with the reference surface are formed by layer-by-layer synthesis together with the reinforcing ribs and in accordance with the specified intervals. Wall sections with a reference surface coinciding with the streamlined surface of the volume article are connected to each other. Together with non-hardened shaping shell from composite material, reference force is applied to said reference surface and reinforcing it is made of the same composite material. Then forming shell together with power set is formed, cured according to preset mode, removed from reference surface and fixed on rigging frame.

EFFECT: reduced labor intensity of production of large-size molding tool from composite material with high accuracy.
