FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to the design of flat supports of apparatus, devices for external fixation of the bones of the skeleton with annular and semi-annular supports. The composite support for the external skeletal fixation device is characterized by the fact that it is circular, flat, with through, evenly spaced on the support plane, fixing holes. The support is made by an additive method for layer-by-layer fusion of ABS thermoplastic containing carbon fiber filler in the volume from 12% to 15%. The hole diameters are in the range from 4 to 7.5 mm, the width of the support is from 15 to 30 mm, and the inner diameter is in the range from 80 to 160 mm.
EFFECT: lightening the design of the circular-type apparatus, the possibility of personalizing the size of the supports for the needs of a particular application, X-ray transparency, lack of electrical conductivity, reducing the mass of the support relative to metal supports, the possibility of combining supports with metal supports of the Ilizarov-type apparatus, increasing the availability of manufacturing.
