FIELD: printing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid medium cartridges, which are replaceable assemblies with a corresponding fluid dispensing mechanism. Disclosed ink cartridge for jet printer comprises: interfaces on front surface for connection to receiving structure for cartridge, wherein said interfaces include an ink receptacle near the lower surface and a gas socket, a guide interface for guiding the cartridge along a straight line for connecting to said interfaces, wherein guide interface is located in lower surface and has guide receiving opening, located on front surface and lower surface, latch stop and latch track in lower surface to guide and hold latch of receiving structure for cartridge and electric circuit including memory containing data with characteristics of cartridge, wherein electric circuit is located near upper surface, which is opposite and parallel to lower surface, and the electric circuit is located near the front surface, passes behind the front surface and is recessed relative to the front surface so as to establish electrical contact after other interfaces are connected, wherein the electric circuit comprises electrodes which extend in a plane perpendicular to the front surface and are located on a line parallel to the front surface and located behind the front surface, wherein height of ink cartridge between upper surface and lower surface is greater than width of ink cartridge, guide receiving hole, receptacle for ink, gas socket and electric circuit are arranged in that order along the line in direction of cartridge height, and electric circuit is designed to establish connection along lateral side (X, B) with appropriate connection circuit within cartridge outer periphery.

EFFECT: technical result consists in elimination of deviations of engaged elements, as well as incorrect connection of interface, leaks, wear or damage of material.
