SUBSTANCE: humidification system comprises a base unit configured to engage with a humidification chamber. Breathing circuit connector comprises an inlet pipe for fluid connection with an outlet pipe of a humidification chamber to receive humidified gases therefrom, outlet branch pipe for sealing connection with or integral with pipeline, intended for direction of humidified gases to user, and an electrical terminal block for electrically connecting the breathing circuit connector to an electrical terminal block connected to the base unit.

EFFECT: breathing circuit connector can be connected with possibility of disconnection and locking with outlet branch pipe of humidification chamber and/or orientation elements can control orientation of system components during their assembly.
