FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image generation and a method of producing a LED display panel. Display panel has a plurality of monolithic LED units mounted on the substrate and a plurality of light-emitting elements covering the LEDs, which are configured to increase the directivity of light emitted by LEDs. Production method involves installation of LEDs on substrate and preparation of mold for casting of light transmitting element. Mold comprises a light transmitting substrate and a separator supported by the substrate such that the side of the substrate of each light transmitting element is open. Further, mold is filled with curable resin, shape and substrate are leveled by means of position sensor, resin is illuminated with ultraviolet rays through a light transmitting substrate, and after curing the resin is separated from the light-transmitting element.

EFFECT: simple method of making and reducing brightness differences at the boundaries of panels.
