SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the cylinder unit of the drum and to the drum unit, which are used in the electrophotographic image forming apparatus, such as a laser printer. Drum cylinder unit used in the electrophotographic image forming device includes a photoconductive drum and a flange element, wherein the flange member comprises a fastening portion fixed to the end of the photoconductive drum, cylindrical section that forms a hollow section, a bottom surface which forms a bottom of the hollow portion, a groove portion provided at the edge of the cylindrical portion, and a toothed portion, wherein the groove portion and the hollow portion opposite to the bottom surface are opened to the outside in the photoconductive drum axial direction, the groove portion includes a first portion having a first width Z1, and second part having second width Z2, where Z1> Z2, wherein second part is located on outer side, than first part, in axial direction of photoconductive drum, and flange element is able to elastically deform with increase in second width Z2 to third width Z3, where Z3> Z2.

EFFECT: technical result consists in facilitating the attachment of the binding element, which is provided for at the end of the photoconductive drum, to the photoconductive drum.
