SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to a cartridge and a drum unit used for an electrophotographic type device for forming images, such as a laser printer. The cartridge is configured to be installed in a printer, said printer including a connector guide configured to contact the cartridge connector for guiding the connector. The cartridge body is provided with an opening to make the free end portion of the connector accessible from the outside of the cartridge, and with a withdrawal portion provided further downstream of the opening with respect to the cartridge mounting direction. When the cartridge is installed in the main body of the printer, the connector guide fits into the retract portion from which the connector was retracted.

EFFECT: this design provides increased reliability of the transmission of driving force from the main unit to the cartridge.
