SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a cartridge that is removably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, a method for assembling a transmission device of a drive for a photosensitive drum and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. Claimed photosensitive drum unit comprises a photosensitive drum, a flange provided at the end of the photosensitive drum, the flange in its inner space includes a receiving portion, a connecting member including a free end portion having at least one protrusion, a connecting portion, which is connected to said flange and at least a part of which is located in said enclosing part, so that the axis of rotation of said connecting member is tilted relative to the rotation axis of said flange, a through hole extending through said connecting portion; and a shaft adapted to receive a rotating force from said connecting member and to pass through said through hole and supported by said flange on its opposite end portions, to allow said connecting member to tilt relative to said shaft.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide a drive transmission structure for the cartridge, which can be extracted to the outside of the main assembly of the device without a mechanism for moving the engaging portion of the main assembly side in the direction of its own rotation axis, after moving in a predetermined direction substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rotating member, such as an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, in which the disengagement of the connecting member is prevented without limiting the angle of inclination (rotation) of the connecting member by the inner edge of the open portion provided in the flange, and also in providing a cartridge using the drive transmission structure.
