METHOD OF EVALUATING SELECTIVITY OF ACTIVE SORBENT CENTRES DURING SORPTION TREATMENT OF WASTE AND PROCESS WATER Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N30/50 C02F1/28

Abstract RU 2691141 C1

FIELD: water supply; sewerage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assessment of selectivity of active centres of sorbents during sorption of highly toxic cations from multicomponent solutions containing three and more pollutants. Method of evaluating selectivity of active sites of sorbent during sorption treatment of waste and process water from contaminants from their multicomponent solutions is based on the fact that experimentally determine values of static and dynamic reservoirs of sorbents for each of pollutants, present in standard solutions separately and together at their same initial concentration, for each container is compared its values with respect to each of the pollutants separately and when it is combined with other pollutants, wherein if said values are close and are within experimental error, active sorbent centres are selective with respect to contaminant, if sorbent capacity value with respect to an individual pollutant exceeds this value when it is combined with other pollutants, there is no selectivity of active centres with respect to the contaminant.

EFFECT: optimization of ways of increasing efficiency of sorption purification of sewage water by means of experimental justification of priorities of direction of effluents of various process stages for removal of toxic components and increase of technological effectiveness of processes at water treatment sections.
