FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a biomodified material for cleaning aqueous media and soil from heavy metals and radionuclides, comprising a carrier sorbent based on lignocellulose and/or mineral components and a biomass of microorganisms immobilized thereon, mixed in ratio of 5-10:1, wherein carrier sorbent used is glauconite, or vermiculite, or a mixture of hydrolytic lignin and glauconite, taken at ratio of 1:1, or a mixture of vermiculite and sawdust, taken at ratio of 1:4-19, and biomass of microorganisms used is a bacterial-fungal complex based on biomass of bacteria Pseudonocardia carboxydivorans VKPM AC-2046 and biomass of fungi of micromycete Penicillium chrysogenum VKPM F-1373 or basidiomycete Schizophyllum fasciatum VKPM F-499, taken at ratio of 1:1-3 by volume of biomass of fungi and biomass of bacteria, with concentration of not less than 1×107 CFU/ml in 1 g of biosorbent.

EFFECT: invention widens the range of biosorption agents with high sorption capacity and retention capacity for rehabilitation of aqueous media and soil from contamination with heavy metals and radionuclides.
