SUBSTANCE: invention relates to symmetric cryptography for information encryption and decryption. Method for encrypting information includes encryption of one or more message information units using a block cipher based on a first key, obtaining a first key from a first key generator, updating said first key generator, based on a function for calculating a second key generator, wherein updating does not change at least a portion of the key generator, obtaining a second key from a second key generator, encrypting one or more message information units using the block cipher based on the second key, wherein in the process of obtaining the first key, the one-way function is applied to both the first and second parts of the first key generator, and wherein the size of the first key is smaller than the size of the first key generator.
