FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for measuring the flow rate and the amount of fluids, and more specifically to vortex flowmeters, and is intended for use in cases when during operation the flow converter is subjected to significant mechanical overloads, for example, when it is located on a vehicle or near a unit whose work is accompanied by strong vibration. Vortex detector comprises a housing, a circular elastic membrane with a thickened edge fixed in the housing, a flat blade attached to the outer side of the membrane coaxially with it and perpendicular to its plane, a counterweight lever attached to the inner side of the membrane coaxially with a spatula and forming one whole with the spatula and membrane, attached to the end of the counterweight arm a thin opaque curtain of rectangular section, a LED and a dual photodiode. Blade and the counterweight lever are attached to the membrane on the same cylindrical legs, the counterweight lever has the same section as the blade, and a length less than the length of the blade by an amount that ensures the immobility of the shutter in the presence of vibration and the absence of flow. Shutter is located long side parallel to the axis of the blade. LED and the photodiode are located on opposite sides of the shutter at a short distance from it so that their joint axis is perpendicular to the plane of the shutter and passes through the axis of the shutter. Gap between the photocells is parallel to the axis of the blade, the width of the shutter is equal to the distance between the centers of the photoelectric cells, and the length exceeds the length of the side of the photocell.

EFFECT: increase sensitivity, eliminate the effects of vibration and simplify manufacturing technology.
