FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiosurgery. Performing connection of peripheral artificial blood flow (ABF), patient is cooled, drainage is performed into left ventricular cavity (LV) for its active drainage, stopping ABF and performing middle reexploration, isolating and clamping ascending aorta, resuming ABF, cardioplegia is performed. Peripheral hypothermia ABF is performed by cannulation of femoral artery and femoral vein or femoral artery and upper, lower hollow veins through right atrium. For active drainage LV performing a right-sided anterolateral thoracotomy along the fifth intercostal space, and draining the right upper pulmonary vein into the cavity LV. When temperature reaches 26–20 °C in conditions of circulatory arrest performing a postnotomy procedure, resuming ABF and the main stage of operation is performed.

EFFECT: method enables eliminating the risk of developing acute cardiac failure in the early postoperative period, the development of which is caused by intraoperative overload LV.
