FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery. Arterial cannulation is performed, after which a puncture of one of the common femoral veins is performed and, under the control of transesophageal echocardiography (TEECO), a venous cannula with a diameter of 19F to 29F is inserted into the system of vena cava (VC). The contralateral common femoral vein is cannulated and an additional cannula with a diameter of at least ½ of the previously installed cannula is introduced into the system of the inferior vena cava (IVC). In this case, the drainage holes of the cannulas are positioned at different levels relative to each other. After that, both venous cannulas are connected into a single venous system of the ECMO circuit using a Y-shaped connector and fixed with sutures in the inguinal region.
EFFECT: invention allows drainage of the left ventricle (LV) during prosthetic heart function by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation of the heart ECMO due to the complete exclusion of preload on the myocardium, excluding overload of the heart chambers with an undrained blood volume, and the LV remains unloaded with arbitrarily long use of ECMO.
