METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF ROOT CULTURE DANDELION KOK-SAGHYZ (TARAXACUM KOK-SAGHYZ RODIN) Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C12N1/00 

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for production of root culture of dandelion kok-saghyz (Taraxacum kok-saghyz Rodin), including using explant strain Agrobacterium rhizogenes strain 15834, placing the treated explants on the agar medium B5 with the addition of cefotaxime 500 mg/l, planting the explants into the flask, from which the roots are formed, into 100 ml flasks containing – 20 ml of the growth medium, separation of grown roots into 1 g inoculum in a month and placing them in medium B5 into flasks per 100 ml, but with content of medium – 40 ml and cultivation for 14 days, transferring grown roots into flasks with volume of 300 ml, containing 100 ml of medium, and culturing for 21 days, wherein total cultivation time is 35 days at 23 °C, in the darkness, on rocker of 90 rpm.

EFFECT: invention allows to stabilize growth parameters and morphological characteristics of roots.
