FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metrology and can be used in determination of gravitational constant. Technical effect is achieved due to the fact that after calculating the moment of attraction at all positions of the attracting bodies at different deviation angles in range of 0.1 to 18 mrad, the stiffnesses introduced by the attracting cylinders are determined, on the basis of experimental values of vibration oscillation periods at different positions of carriages, the stiffnesses introduced by them into the torsional system are determined, ratios of rigidity created by the carriages and attracting cylinders at all four positions, which form an array of coefficients, which is entered into the program for calculations.
EFFECT: simplified determination of gravitational constant.
