FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reference measuring devices for precision measurement of density of liquid, gas-liquid and gaseous media. Device (reference) for measuring density of liquid, gas-liquid and gaseous media includes a pycnometer with fixed volume of under-piston cavity, pipelines with shutoff valves, wherein pycnometer is made in form of cylinder with piston, connected by means of rod with strain gage fixed on bearing frame, under-piston cavity of cylinder is connected by means of pipelines with shutoff valves with transfer system of measured medium, and above-piston cavity of cylinder is connected to system of back pressure creation to measured medium of under-piston cavity, by means of pipelines with shutoff valves connected to reservoir for hydraulic fluid, wherein device is additionally equipped with pycnometer self-test system, unit of quick-disconnect connections connecting under-piston and above-piston cavities with additional systems, flushing system of quick-disconnect connections, system of cleaning of quick-disconnect connections by blowing with compressed air, verification system of external densimeters, wherein additional systems are made with forced supply of hydraulic, calibration, washing liquid and blowing air with help of pumps, shutoff equipment and pipelines.

EFFECT: possibility of confirming metrological characteristics, calibration in operating conditions of means of measuring density on working medium during calibration and in calibration interval.
