FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a monolithic or composite insulating part of a burner for plasma cutting, for electrical insulation between at least two electroconductive structural elements of a plasma torch. Part consists of electrically non-conductive material with high heat-conducting properties or at least one part consists of electrically non-conducting material with high heat-conducting properties, characterized by that it consists, at least, two parts, wherein one of the parts consists of electrically non-conducting material with high heat-conducting properties. Another or at least one other part consists of electrically non-conducting and heat-conducting material.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of more efficient and cheap cooling, reduction and simplification of design forms of plasma burners, as well as lower mechanical stress due to smaller temperature differences.
