SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental medicine. Method for assessing the nature of exogenous effects on spermatogenesis in experimental animals involves adding 0.2 g of a sample of homogenised testis tissue with appendage 2 ml of physiological solution, mixing, adding 1 ml of 40 % solution of trichloracetic acid, centrifugation for 10 minutes at 3,000 rpm, extraction of a centrifuge and measurement of optical densities at 220, 254 and 280 nm in a cuvette with thickness of 1 cm. Impact character index ICI is calculated by formula: ICI=ΣE(sample)/ΣE(contact), where the ICI is an impact character index; ΣE (sample) is the sum of the extensions of the E220, E254, E280 samples; ΣE (contact) is sum of control extensions E220, E254, E280 at wavelengths of 220, 254 and 280 nm to each set (in standard unit). If the ICI value is more than 1, the negative nature of the exposure is stated; if the exposure is less than 1, the positive nature of the exposure is stated, while the ICI is equal to 1 – the neutral nature of the exposure.

EFFECT: invention enables high-accuracy assessment of the nature of exogenous effects on spermatogenesis in experimental animals.
