FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for prediction of a risk of developing ischemic heart disease (IHD) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with subclinical hypothyroidism, consisting in the fact that venous blood is used to determine levels of the vascular endothelium adhesion molecule of 1 type – VCAM1, glycated hemoglobin – HbA1c, antibodies to thyreperoxidase – AbTPO, as well as patient's age and calculating an I – risk index of developing IHD by formula: I=(-2.36145+0.41297⋅VCAM1+0.225285⋅HbA1c+0.096089⋅A-0.091315⋅AbTPO)/730, where: VCAM1 is level adhesion molecule of vascular endothelium of 1 type, ng/ml; HbA1c – plasma glucose level for 3 months, %; A is age, years; AbTPO – level of antibodies to thyreperoxidase, mcME/ml; and if the I value is less than 0.69, a low risk is predicted IHD, at I 0.70 to 0.80 high risk is predicted IHD, with I above 0.81 IHD already exists.
EFFECT: invention provides more effective prediction of developmental risk IHD in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with subclinical hypothyroidism.
