METHOD FOR PREDICTING ADVERSE CARDIOVASCULAR EVENTS IN PATIENTS WITH CORONARY HEART DISEASE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/00 A61B5/285

Abstract RU 2682811 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to functional diagnostics in clinical cardiology, and can be used to predict adverse cardiovascular events in patients with coronary heart disease. Speed of propagation of the pulse wave through the vessels of the muscular type (Vm), cm/s, the velocity of propagation of the pulse wave through the vessels of the elastic type (Ve), cm/s, is determined, after that, the elastic modulus of muscular type vessels (Vm) and the elastic modulus of elastic type vessels (Ve) are calculated according to the stated formulas. Next, the ratio of the moduli of elasticity of the vessels of the muscular and elastic types (Vm/Ve) is determined. Likelihood of adverse events is determined by the stated formula (D0). If D0<0, the absence of adverse cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease.

EFFECT: method allows the prediction of adverse cardiovascular events in patients with coronary heart disease due to the assessment of the complex of the most significant indicators.
