SUBSTANCE: field of application: electrical equipment. Device for automatic switching of backup includes connected in parallel to buses of critical consumers main and backup source of AC power supply through series connected to each source of alternating current power supply units of quality control of electric energy and thyristor switching devices, as well as responsible consumers through the power electronics quality indicators monitoring unit series-connected. Three control units of electric power quality indicators of automatic switching device are connected to inputs of control unit of automatic reserve switching device, and outputs of control unit of automatic switching device are connected to two thyristor switching devices of automatic switching device. Combined active filter is connected to tires of critical consumers, consisting of capacitive energy storage and energy accumulator, each of which is connected through switching devices to controlled three-phase inverter, connected to buses of critical consumers through transformer, and energy accumulator is charged through charging device connected to two parallel connected three-phase rectifiers, first of which through switching device is connected to main source of AC power supply, and second through switching device is connected to backup source of AC power supply.

EFFECT: providing uninterrupted power supply to critical consumers when switching from main AC power source to standby power, as well as improvement of quality of electric energy on tires of critical consumers in modes of correction of electric energy quality indicators and switching of power supply in power supply system.
