FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of laser processing materials in a liquid medium. Laser beam is formed in liquid jet with simultaneous supply to treatment zone by means of laser processing device. Device consists of a laser radiation generator configured to operate in a frequency mode, an optical element, a hydraulic chamber with a window for inputting a laser beam from an optical element, a device for feeding liquid into a hydraulic chamber with an outlet for outputting a laser beam from a hydraulic chamber in a liquid jet. Preliminarily the liquid is subjected to filtration, thermal stabilization with its further injection into the hydraulic chamber. At nozzle outlet nozzle is installed. In the processing zone, low pressure is created and maintained by means of a system which forms a closed circuit and which is made with possibility of circulation of liquid flow through nozzles installed in pairs at the inlet for supply of liquid from the external medium and outlet for liquid discharge from the chamber.

EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of material processing using laser radiation in liquid media transparent to laser radiation in a wide range of pressure and temperature of the environment.
