FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: assembly steering wheel comprises a steering wheel having a rim, a hub and spokes connecting the rim and the hub and the airbag module located on the hub. Switches for switching on the audio signal means are located on a plurality of spokes. Insert is located adjacent to airbag module for activation of audio signal facility, insert is installed with possibility of movement on steering wheel for contact with any of switching switches of audio signalling facility. At least part of insert is movable in axial direction relative to steering wheel for contact with any of switches of audio signalling device activation, whereby the driver of the motor vehicle can switch on the audio signal means by pressing the insert without contacting with any part of the airbag module.
