SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to versions of a steering wheel of a vehicle having an airbag module accommodated and installed inside a recess having an opening of a predetermined shape, and a method for installing an airbag module inside a recess in the steering wheel. Recess has a cover with an outer surface and an inner surface located on top and close to the airbag module and substantially covering the opening of the recess. Cover has a predefined shape corresponding to the shape of the recess opening, and the outer edge corresponding to the inner edge of the recess. Outer edge of the cover has an elastic contour located close to the inner edge of the recess along the outer edge of the recess.
EFFECT: easy assembly and improved appearance.
