FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrochemical cells development for the electrode materials chemical composition and structure studying by X-ray radiation absorption spectroscopy. Electrochemical cell for the electrode materials studying by the X-ray radiation absorption spectroscopy method, comprising housing containing the electrolyte cavity with the auxiliary electrode placed therein; membrane, which performs the X-ray radiation window function, made with the possibility of the electrode material under study layer application from the electrolyte placement side, differs in that the housing is provided with input and output channels with valves located therein, at that, the input channel valve is the non-return valve, the output channel valve is the stop valve, the membrane is made of gas-tight material.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the electrochemical measurements stability and their reliability, with increase in the cell assembly convenience and performance, as well as in expansion of the studied electrochemical systems range.
