SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building. Plate chain consists of plates and stepped rollers. On the rollers in the gap between the inner plates there are protrusions with one-sided cones directed to the contact zone of the roller with the tooth, which limit axial movement of the rollers along the teeth and ensuring unobstructed engagement of the chain with the teeth. Length of the contact surface of the rollers with teeth is smaller than the distance between the inner plates, but is greater than or equal to the width of the tooth.

EFFECT: reduced wear of teeth.
