FIELD: electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-temperature electrochemistry, in particular to electrolytic production of microcrystalline deposit of tungsten-molybdenum alloy, and can be used for production of devices used in conditions of high temperatures, in particular: equipping hydrogen and vacuum furnaces, making mixers in the glass industry, heat plants for producing sapphire monocrystals, uranium fuel annealing furnaces, heat exchanger elements, etc., as well as in radio electronic industry when manufacturing electrovacuum devices. Microcrystals of tungsten-molybdenum alloy are obtained by electrolysis of molten mass of 90 mol% Na2WO4 – 10 mol% WO3 and 80 mol% Na2WO4 – 20 mol% WO3 at temperature of 700–800 °C, in pulse potentiostatic mode, at voltage 970–1,500 mV and duration of voltage pulse 15 s. Cathode used is molybdenum foil, and the anode is platinum.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain microcrystalline powder of tungsten-molybdenum alloy at reduction of process temperature and reduction of its duration, which can be further used for making articles by powder metallurgy methods.
