SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a grinder tooth assembly, a grinder with such a unit and a drum device for grinding minerals, as well as to a method of assembling a tooth assembly and a method of replacing its shell structure. Grinding tooth assembly comprises at least one projection-pin having a front and a back face, a shell structure embracing the projection-pin and defining an external tooth shape, wherein the shell structure comprises two covering formations, permanently attached to each other, but not with a projection-pin, forming a unitary tooth assembly, wherein each of the two coating formations is placed on one of the faces of the projection-pin and represents an internal face of contact interaction. Mineral grinder or crusher comprises said tooth assembly or drum device including multiple toothed rings mounted on drive shaft and having multiple abutting teeth assemblies spaced apart along ring circumference. Method for assembly of said tooth assembly consists in the fact that two covering formations are connected with possibility of forming a unitary unit of tooth by means of their permanent connection. Method of replacing shell structure of tooth assembly consists in destructive removal of permanently attached connection between first and second sections of coating, method includes replacing the first and second coating formations and performing the above operations to secure the substitute coating formations in place on the pin projection.

EFFECT: tooth unit and grinders with such unit increase manufacturability of devices used for minerals grinding.
