METHOD FOR PREDICTING SEVERITY OF ATOPIC DERMATITIS IN CHILDREN WITH ACCOMPANYING INTESTINAL DYSBACTERIOSIS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2692803 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dermatology, and represents a method for prediction of severity of atopic dermatitis in children with intestinal dysbacteriosis, consisting in the fact that before the treatment, the feces are microbiologically analyzed with the species identification of all the recovered cultures of the microorganisms by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and if the initial content of Bifidobacterium longum is 107 CFU/g and lower, Lactobacillus acidophilus – 105 CFU/g and lower, Escherichia coli – 106 CFU/g and lower, Enterococcus faecalis or Enterococcus faecium – 107 CFU/g and higher, haemolytic strains of Escherichia coli or any other types of enterobacteria, except for typical Escherichia coli, – 105 CFU/g and higher, any other types of opportunistic microorganisms in concentrations of 104 CFU/g and higher is predicted a risk of aggravated intestinal dysbacteriosis worsening the course of atopic dermatitis in children, and transition of disease into more severe clinical version with traditional therapy.

EFFECT: invention provides early diagnosis and prediction of transition of atopic dermatitis in children to a more severe clinical version.
