SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical industry. Method of purification consists in the following: extract is washed with chlorine-containing hydrocarbon and washing is realised by its slurryfication in chlorine-containing hydrocarbon with further mixing of suspension at room temperature during 20-40 minutes, with ratio 1:28-30. Then sediment is separated and dried at temperature 28-32°C and residual pressure 12-14 mm Hg during one and a half hours. Medication represents cream, which contains purified by claimed method extract of green tea with 70-75% content of epigallocatechine-3-gallate (EGCG) in amount of 7-40 wt %. Cream is applied on damaged areas of face and body skin in thin layer until complete drying 1-3 times per day during 5 days - 12 weeks. Method of purification makes it possible to obtain extract with high EGCG content and low content of caffeine.
EFFECT: obtained cream has expressed antihyperplastic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, activates natural process of tissues regeneration, normalises metabolic processes, inhibits premature aging processes, increases skin stability against unfavorable impact of environment.
