FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to topographic anatomy, traumatology and orthopedics and radiodiagnosis, and can be used to determine body and horn boundaries of human knee joint meniscus. Lines of the medial and lateral intercondylar tubercle are plotted in an anterior-posterior direction. Lines passing through the inner edge of the bodies of both menisci are built parallel to said lines. Each line is the boundary between the body and horns of the corresponding meniscus.
EFFECT: method provides accurate determination of individual histoptopographic features of parts of menisci and detailed selection of corresponding treatment in pathology by plotting lines through inner edges of both menisci, parallel to lines of medial and lateral intercondyloidal tubercles in anterior-posterior direction.
