DOSE PLANNING SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61N5/10

Abstract RU 2693204 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dose scheduling system for the therapeutic treatment of an involved organ tissue. Disclosed is a system comprising: a biopsy map generation module configured to receive biopsy information on an organ of interest relating to biopsy sites and tissue characteristics detected in biopsy points, wherein the biopsy card generation module is further configured to generate a spatially annotated biopsy map for the organ by binding spatial information on biopsy points to tissue characteristics found in the corresponding biopsy points, and a probabilistic map calculating unit configured to generate a probabilistic tumour map by calculating the tumour probability for the organ sites from which the biopsy was not selected, by using tumour and/or tissue characteristics from biopsy sites, and a dose planning module configured to create a dose plan based on a probabilistic tumour map, wherein limiting scheduling conditions are such that a higher planned dose is planned for the zone with a medium high tumour probability, and a reduced planned dose is planned for the zone with an average reduced tumour probability.

EFFECT: invention provides improved treatment planning.
