SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a structural member comprising a rigid material plate and at least one nonlinear dynamic vibration damper (9) comprising plate (1) with two end sections and intermediate section (2b) with a nonlinear spring function, weight (3) fixed on intermediate section (2b) of plate with function of non-linear spring, fixation device (4), which allows fixing two end sections of plate (1) on solid support so that intermediate section (2b) with nonlinear spring function could oscillate near its equilibrium position or one of its equilibrium positions, wherein that non-linear dynamic oscillation damper (9) is rigidly secured to said plate by means of retainer (4). Invention also relates to a partition wall comprising such a structure element, as well as to use of such an oscillation damper or structural element to reduce sound permeability of the wall.
EFFECT: disclosed is a nonlinear dynamic vibration damper and its use for sound insulation.
