SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry, in particular to decoration of structural elements, and a method of making a polymer detachable part of a vehicle with a decorative element. First polymer material phase is formed. Decorative element is transferred from the film carrier onto the first surface of the phase of the first polymer material by hot forming using the puncheon. Applying phase of second polymer material to first surface of phase of first polymer material so that decorative element is placed between phase of first polymer material and phase of second polymer material, wherein phase of first polymer material or phase of second polymer material is transparent.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of a decorative element protected from external effects, while providing a structural solution of the window glass with visually attractive and easily distinguishable appearance.
