The technical result is achieved by the fact that the tool for distributing a coating over a surface comprises a gripper part connected with a trowel extending in a first direction and a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, wherein the trowel has a working surface and a gripping surface, and wherein the trowel has a row of teeth extending along one side of the trowel extending in the first direction, wherein the working surface in the second direction has a recessed profile extending in a first direction, and the trowel is made of elastically deformable plastic.

EFFECT: creation of a spatula effectively controlling the thickness of the distributed coating, therein guaranteeing more convenient use and low cost of the tool.
