FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for grinding and can be used for protein fodders, in particular, sunflower press cake. Proposed device comprises loading bunker, gate, housing, frame, motor, rotor with discs with knife blocks arranged there between. Device has a set of detachable blade blocks. Knife block is made in the form of crankshaft, on necks of which knives are staggered. Cutting part of knives has crescent shape and on outer and inner sides of blade, which are sharpened at an angle of not more than 40° on both sides. Necks of crankshafts of knife blocks, included in the set, have different sizes of diameter from 3 to 6 cm and length of 2–4 cm to enable processing of material with different physical and mechanical properties.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities, reduced power consumption of the process and high quality of grinding protein fodder.
