SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of evaluating piloting of an aircraft by a pilot at a stage before touching during landing. To estimate piloting, parameters of aircraft and pilot actions are registered by standard on-board recording device and transmitted to ground-based device for automated processing of flight information, form an array of data of altitude and vertical speed, determine dependence of rate of decrease on height at certain moments of time, performe quality assessment of piloting for each landing in accordance with accepted standard values.

EFFECT: higher safety during aircraft landing.
